Essex County backyard weddings were the star of 2020. The pandemic forced so many couples to completely throw out their original plans and start from scratch. There were so many changes, uncertainties, and new restrictions that made navigating the planning process a real challenge, but I saw so much beauty, resilience, and love amidst it all.
Brittany & Michael were one of the first couples whose wedding I had the privilege of shooting in 2020 and it’s absolutely one of my favourite days I’ve ever captured. It rained from morning to night, but these two embraced it and made it another part of the story of how their lives together began. It was perfect. Here is their story:
