Every year I coax my sister into letting me take portraits of her in some new location that I’ve fallen in love with. 2018 was different in that Ashley actually approached me about this session. I had the location, she had a vision for the dress and the feel, and mother nature gifted us with the most beautiful evening. There’s a good bit of luck involved in all those things aligning, let me tell ya. Doing things outside of just wedding photography – images taken for myself without the constraints of client expectations or desires is something I’m going to try to do more of in the 2019 year, so I figured showing some of the highlights from this session was a great way to kick-start that idea.
